1. Information We Collect

When you install AI Chatbot, we collect:

• Your Shopify store domain and access token (to communicate with the Shopify API)
• AI provider API key you configure (stored encrypted)
• Knowledge base articles you add
• Aggregated chat session counts (no personally identifiable visitor data)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely to operate the AI Chatbot service for your store. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g. sending messages to your configured AI provider).

3. Data Retention

Your data is retained while the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, your data is deleted within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's GDPR requirements.

4. Customer Data

This app does not collect or store personally identifiable information about your store's customers. Chat interactions are processed in real time and not stored.

5. GDPR & Data Subject Rights

We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks:

• Customer data request: Responded to within 30 days
• Customer redact: Customer data deleted within 10 days of request
• Shop redact: All shop data deleted within 48 hours of uninstall
